Colors and darkness 1

“Colors and Obscurity 1” is the beginning of a series of 3 paintings where the artist Christine Barone wanted to mix realistic, graphic and abstract styles in a theme that she particularly likes: a portrait of a woman who exudes power.
Realistic by the face, graphic by this contrasting shadow and abstract by this colored hair with reliefs made with a knife and glued paint elements.
Abundant hair like our inner world. Rich in textures and colors, which we preserve from darkness.
