The color of our failures

Continuing with "The Shape of Our Failures", the artist Christine Barone wanted here to simply expose pieces of previous setbacks and bathe them in a benevolent blue. These “good to throw away” remains, symbols of our failures, are highlighted here unvarnished and shown in all their brutality and beauty.
Adding one's own hair to this work is a way of investing more deeply into the meaning of this painting, of signing it, of accepting, of affirming that these are its failures. They are part of our lives. Without failure, no progress.
