In search of imperfection
We are all striving for perfection.
What if we looked for imperfection?
What if we realized ourselves with our little imperfections?
It is this duality that this work expresses through the constraint of high heels, ballet boots with excessive heels, the latex catsuit, the pears and the corsets. Relief is expressed by the lollipop face and difficulty by the screaming face, stretching the hood and forced into noise-canceling headphones. Every imperfection in the drawing and painting is exploited and from there words and sentences are born to emphasize them. The ashtray and the cigar evoke the presence of the creator of this scene - or the painting - and project us into his place.
