The gold of our failures

An ancient painting, candle wax flowing to the sound of the rain falling outside, this is the genesis of “The Gold of Our Failures”.
This flowing wax is like our resignation in the face of our failures and the black like the veil we cast over them.
But our failures are only the starting point for our successes. This is what this reversed painting seeks to express, with drippings rising, patinated with gold.
