Broken glass is an evocative symbol of failure.
The work of the artist Christine Barone here consists of recomposing these shattered pieces which, thanks to color, find shape again, without denying the remaining wounds symbolized by the relief painting between each piece.
There is a mise en abyme of the concept with the image sent back by the reflections of the shards of glass which is also broken and recomposed.
