The artist Christine Barone shows us other bodies than those with which our standardized society assail us. Just to give them the visibility they deserve, in all kindness and simplicity. Because femininity is not unique. It is diversity.
No face or hands, such is Christine Barone's bias, in order to concentrate on the essential and thus be universal in her approach.
Here, the belt evokes the straitjacket of our society. But femininity cannot be contained.
