This series originates from Christine Barone's earliest creations.
In it, she rediscovers an impulse born in her adolescence: the urge to assemble diverse elements,
gleaned, forgotten, sometimes broken, sometimes seemingly insignificant.
Through collage, the artist rekindles a childlike perspective, capable of perceiving wonder in the fragment, poetry in the ordinary, beauty in what is often overlooked.
Each work is thus created instinctively, attuned to the whispers these materials and objects still hold.
